There are many ways to look at your network marketing business and probably as many different goals and desires for income as there are people building MLM businesses.

As these network marketing times change, if you choose to think of your network marketing business as a career – do you prepare for it differently than you would if you thought of it as some casual endeavor? If you think of it as a business that may or may not work, that may or may not bring you significant income and that you may or may not stay committed to, how is that different from choosing networking marketing as a career?

When you prepare to embark on a new career, what do you do? Most likely, you get educated in the new field or discipline. Depending on the career you choose, you might take a few months worth of courses, or you might attend a university program – you might even invest years in learning and financial investment before you even begin to practice your new profession.

Where Do You Learn What You Need to Know in Our Business?

MLM is arguably one of the most lucrative business models in existence.  However, to make career level income, you need to learn (and practice) the skills that will take your business to a professional level.  Obviously there’s no MLM University – although we’re aiming for that here at Serious MLM Training – so you need to find a resource(s) for learning the skills that will make you money.

Network Marketing Times

Start by reading the only professional journal in our industry: Network Marketing Times.  You’ll learn some techniques certainly, but perhaps even more importantly, you’ll be inspired by reading about what others have accomplished by staying the course and building their skills, and their income.

Use Classes, Coaching and Web Resources – then PRACTICE

Be actively engaged in the activities that make you money and do that consistently.  That’s actually the ultimate formula for success. It’s also about knowing how to best DO those activities so you’re practicing the things that will get you the best results. For example, if you’re making calls to introduce people to your business – do you have a comfortable, relaxed script that you’ve practiced so often you could recite it in your sleep? Do you know how to create a follow-up series of activities from every contact you make? Do you have a resource for learning and improving your game?
